Position Overview

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will play an integral role in driving our mission to deliver excellence in client management and retention.

Primary Responsibilities

• Effectively managing a high-volume book of insurance business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Growing client loyalty by building positive relationships and providing high levels of advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication.
• Handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the markets and their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting procedures, and related processes.
• Reviewing all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
• Coordinating expiration lists with department managers to obtain renewal business information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Minimum of three years Commercial Account Management experience required.
• Property & Casualty License required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
• Strong administrative and computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience preferred.
• Able to work independently with a high degree of interaction with team members.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving with minimal assistance.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
