Job summary

Cross Insurance is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager for small business in a hybrid role with on-site Providence office. You will interact with existing and potential clients daily, manage a profitable book of business, and contribute to revenue goals.

Responsibilities include client advisement on coverage, account rounding, upselling, and delivering exceptional service across phone, in person, and email interactions. A Bachelor’s in Commercial Insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the Commercial Insurance space.
• Experience with AMS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Regularly connect with appropriate business contacts for potential opportunities and increase sales on existing business by account rounding.
• Promote and sell insurance products to meet brokerage revenue goals and round accounts.
• Provide high-level customer service via phone, in person, email or written correspondence.
• Assess client needs and advise on appropriate coverage levels and products.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and prospects.
• Upsell additional product offerings to existing customers to grow the book of business.
