Overview

Capstone, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Executive. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team — joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities
  • Support the marketing of renewals, drafting and preparing renewal client proposals, as required
  • Processing of endorsements
  • Issuing certificates, evidences, and ID cards
  • Maintain and keep current all bookkeeping systems, databases, and records
  • Processing Non-Pay Cancellations and resolving billing issues
  • Providing superior customer support — manage customer needs to a successful and timely resolution
  • General miscellaneous tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Preferred: 1+ years Commercial Lines experience
  • NJ Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
  • Customer service oriented — ability to put yourself in the shoes of the customer
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Familiar with Agency Management Systems and Carrier websites is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to organizational needs as required
