Our ISO, Commercial Lines Sales Team is seeking a creative and entrepreneurially minded Sales Account Executive, to lead in identifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within an assigned account territory within the US. If you have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual new & existing business sales and activity goals, have experience in consultative sales, and excel at building long-lasting and trusting relationships, we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities
  • Attain assigned quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Manage existing solution revenue from current customer base within an assigned territory for both growth and retention
  • Prospect and attain greater share of wallet within assigned sales territory
  • Successfully manage short, mid, and long-term strategic sales plans to build trust within the territory
  • Maintain and communicate sales activity, notes, updates, call reports, and opportunities with team members and within Salesforce.com
  • Develop customized solution proposals and contractual agreements
  • Coordinate closely on sales opportunities with other Verisk team members
  • Provide feedback on industry trends, new product ideas, and competitive intelligence
  • Develop trusting relationships at all levels within accounts
Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a complex sales environment with a successful track record
  • Ability to articulate Verisk’s value proposition and engage customers in addressing business priorities
  • Experience calling on company executives in a competitive marketplace
  • Quick understanding of customer business and decision-making processes
  • Experience in team selling environments
  • Solid understanding of the P&C industry is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.com
  • Experience with multi-year contracts exceeding $1 million is a plus
  • Ability to work remotely and travel at least 50% of the time
