We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned insurance professional who is passionate about customer service and risk management. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, analyzing policies, and managing risk for our commercial line clients. They will also have a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance and be comfortable working with commercial lines. Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will have a wide range of responsibilities that will be integral to the success of our business. These include

  • Managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyzing, comparing, and proposing commercial lines insurance policies based on the specific needs of each client.
  • Developing and presenting comprehensive and customized insurance proposals to clients.
  • Managing the policy renewal process, ensuring that all renewals are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Issuing certificates and managing COI (Certificate of Insurance) requests.
  • Identifying and assessing the risks associated with each client, and developing appropriate risk management strategies.
  • Working closely with other team members to ensure that all client needs are met and that all issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in commercial insurance and account management, along with excellent customer service skills. Specific qualifications for this role include

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, specifically in account management, customer service, risk management, policy analysis, and policy renewal.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial lines, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance proposals, certificates, COI, and renewals.
  • Excellent client relations skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop effective risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to clients.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
