Job summary

Moody's Analytics is seeking a seasoned pre-sales advisor for commercial lending technology, focused on the Moody's Analytics Lending Suite. You will partner with banks and credit unions, delivering demonstrations, ROIs, and aligned solutions across risk, credit, and operations teams.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial lending workflows, strong stakeholder engagement, and up to 30% travel to engage clients and advance opportunities. A finance-related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Hands-on experience in commercial credit, underwriting, lending, or portfolio management in banking contexts.
• Strong presentation, communication and public speaking skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to translate complex credit, risk, and tech concepts into clear business value narratives.
• Analytical mindset balancing risk, growth and efficiency.
• Comfort engaging with senior-level credit, risk, and tech leaders.
• Self-motivated, proactive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Collaborative, cross-functional work with Sales, Product, Implementation, and Customer Success.
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI concepts and applying AI tools to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert for Moody's Analytics Lending Suite in commercial lending technology sales.
• Partner with banks and credit unions aligning objectives with Moody's lending solutions.
• Prepare and deliver software demonstrations and proofs of concept showing business impact and ROI.
• Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Managers to progress opportunities and close deals.
• Support technical discussions including RFI/RFP responses related to credit workflows and risk practices.
• Capture client and market feedback to inform product roadmaps.
• Coordinate with Product, Implementation and Customer Success for smooth handover post-sale.
• Stay current on lending best practices, underwriting standards, and regulatory considerations; travel up to 30%.
