Skills and Competencies
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience in commercial credit, underwriting, lending, or portfolio management within commercial, commercial real estate, or agricultural banking environments

Education

Responsibilities

Drive commercial lending technology sales as a trusted pre‑sales advisor and subject matter expert for Moody’s Analytics Lending Suite.

  • Act as a subject matter expert in commercial credit workflows and Moody’s Analytics Lending Suite, including digital application intake, document collection, financial spreading and automation, integrated risk ratings, covenant monitoring, early warning indicators, portfolio surveillance, and AI‑assisted credit memo automation
  • Partner with banks and credit unions as a trusted advisor, aligning lending, credit, risk, and operational objectives with Moody’s commercial lending technology solutions
  • Prepare and deliver high‑quality software demonstrations and proofs of concept that clearly articulate business impact, efficiency gains, enhanced risk insight, and return on investment for executive, credit, lending, risk, and operations audiences
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Relationship Managers throughout the sales cycle to support opportunity progression and deal closure
  • Support functional and technical discussions, including responses to Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal, related to credit workflows, risk management practices, and regulatory expectations
  • Capture and synthesize client and market feedback to inform product enhancements and future roadmap priorities
  • Partner with Product, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to delivery, with clear expectations and commitments
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial lending best practices, underwriting standards, and regulatory considerations, educate internal sales teams on Banking Operating Unit products and evolving commercial credit workflows, and travel up to approximately 30% to engage clients and support sales activities
About the Team

The Banking Operating Unit at Moody’s Analytics partners with financial institutions to modernize commercial lending, credit, and risk management practices. The team brings together professionals with deep industry experience and a shared commitment to helping banks and credit unions improve efficiency, strengthen risk insight, and support sustainable growth through innovative technology solutions.

For US‑based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$135,700.00-$196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full‑time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
