Job summary

WesBanco, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Banking Officer to manage lending and depository relationships with middle market and larger commercial clients in Columbus, OH.

You will solicit new clients through direct sales calls and support CRA lending initiatives while coordinating with CRM and other bank units to ensure a smooth credit process. The role requires analyzing financial statements, developing business relationships, and promoting bank services to drive growth and community development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in business or finance preferred.
• Experience in commercial banking or Commercial Real Estate relationships advantageous.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Originates and manages lending and deposit relationships with middle market and larger commercial customers.
• Maintains and effectively manages an individual commercial portfolio in all respects.
• Analyzes financial statements and customer profiles to support needs of existing and potential customers.
• Works with other bank departments to effectively manage the credit process.
• Travel required for training, meetings and client visits.
