Job summary

Central Bank of Kansas City is hiring a Commercial Lending Coordinator in Kansas City, MO. This role provides end-to-end operational coordination for commercial credit requests and portfolio activities, partnering with lenders, Credit, and documentation teams to ensure timely, accurate execution.

You will track status, owner, requirements, and deadlines, coordinate information, and escalate issues to prevent delays while maintaining service quality for CRE and construction transactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial banking, loan administration, or related field.
• Experience with C&I and CRE transactions is preferred.
• Ability to read loan approvals, identify conditions, and escalate issues.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related workflow systems.
• Degree in business/finance/accounting preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with construction lending or loan documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end commercial loan requests from initial information to closing and post-closing.
• Request and collect financials, entity, collateral, insurance, and closing data as needed.
• Organize borrower, guarantor, property, project, title, appraisal, environmental, and budget data.
• Track conditions, deadlines, and ownership; escalate delays or unresolved issues.
• Support closing logistics and funding; ensure accurate documentation and records.
• Monitor portfolio activities including annual reviews, maturities, and covenants.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication with lenders and customers.
• Collaborate with Lending Operations, Credit, and other stakeholders; contribute to process improvements.
