Job summary
United Midwest Savings Bank in Columbus, OH is seeking a Commercial Lending Specialist who will support the commercial lending lifecycle. You will partner with lenders, credit professionals, loan operations, and customers to gather and analyze financial information, prepare loan packages, and assist with closing.

Qualifications
- Experience in commercial lending or loan closing.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and tax returns.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidance for commercial lending.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to present recommendations to senior management.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic office equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Assist lenders with loan origination by gathering and reviewing borrower information.
- Analyze financial statements and tax returns to support credit analysis and underwriting.
- Prepare commercial loan requests for underwriting and closing.
- Coordinate loan documentation and closings, tracking conditions.
