Job summary
Nationwide Investments is hiring an Analyst, Commercial Loan Processing in Columbus, OH. You will support underwriting and servicing of commercial mortgage loans from origination to payoff, ensuring accuracy in loan systems and timely processing.
The role requires a business/finance background and at least three years in commercial real estate, with strong document interpretation and communication skills. Office-based with some flexibility.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate studies in business, finance, or related field.
- Three years of related experience in commercial real estate.
Responsibilities
- Reviews key loan documents and performs due diligence for initial loan funding.
- Updates mortgage loan system based on modifications and regular updates.
- Reseaches payment discrepancies with Operations/Servicers to resolve issues.
- Administers monthly payments for Mezzanine & SOFR loans.
- Follows up on outstanding Borrower and Servicer late charges.
- Prepares/validates loan payoff documentation and processes extra funds for disbursement.
- Coordinates imaging of loan documents and handles paper storage requests.
- Assists in testing the mortgage loan system and imaging system upgrades.
- Performs correspondent audits to ensure proper processes are in place.
- Assists with annual property inspections and deferred maintenance follow-ups.
