Job summary

BancFirst in Jones, Oklahoma is seeking a Commercial Lender to build and manage a diverse loan portfolio across construction, commercial, CRE, and consumer lending. The role emphasizes quality loan growth and strict adherence to credit guidelines.

You will cross-sell BancFirst products, participate in community events, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and partners in the Jones region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred).
• Experience underwriting commercial loans.
• Proficient in analyzing complex financial data and writing credit memos.
• Knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending regulations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtain and develop quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing existing portfolio
• Construction, Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Consumer, and Consumer Real Estate Loans
• Promote BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree required (Business major or Formal Credit training preferred)
• Minimum 1-3 years experience as an underwriting Commercial Loan Officer
• Experience in negotiating loan workouts and asset liquidations
• Must have ability to analyze complex financial data and write detailed credit memorandums
• Must have current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including, but not limited to, RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
• Must have ability to grow quality portfolio with annual performance goals
• Promote Retail/Cash Management products to new and existing relationships
• Willing to participate in community events
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Must be able to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
