Job summary

BancFirst Corporation in Jones, OK seeks a Consumer and Real Estate Loan Officer to grow and manage a consumer/real estate loan portfolio and deliver outstanding service in a community-focused bank.

You will promote BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products, participate in community events, and ensure adherence to policies while providing exceptional customer service under deadline-driven conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred.
• Knowledge of RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending regulations.
• Proficient in loan processing software applications.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and develop quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing existing portfolio.
• Promote BancFirst services through cross selling banking products to new and existing clientele.
• Participation in various community and public events.
• Consistent execution of policies and procedures.
• Extraordinary customer service at all times.
• Outside business development calls required.
• Assist with other job-related duties and special projects as requested.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an underwriting Consumer Loan Officer preferred
• Current working knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements including but not limited to RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending
• Knowledge of loan processing/collection software required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications
• Obtain and develop Consumer/Real Estate loan portfolio
• Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrate an independent working attitude within a team framework
• Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree preferred but not required
• Lending experience preferred but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant use of computer screens
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear
• Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday
• Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 5 pounds
