Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution is seeking a field installation technician to manage the full lifecycle of commercial laundry equipment installs. You will receive, deliver, set, connect, start up, and validate operation across laundromats, hotels, and multi-unit properties.

You will interpret blueprints and electrical/plumbing diagrams, ensure code compliance, and train end users on operation and care. Travel within a defined territory is expected with occasional overnights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years' experience in commercial, military, industrial, or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC is a plus.
• Experience using dispatch systems for customer support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full installation lifecycle: receive, deliver, set, connect, start up, and validate operation.
• Install, configure, and commission washers, dryers, and finishing equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for placement and utilities.
• Connect to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation per code and specs.
• Level, secure, and anchor equipment to meet safety standards.
• Test end-to-end functionality; diagnose issues before handoff to customers.
• Coordinate site logistics with contractors and facility leaders.
• Provide hands-on training to end users and staff.
