Job summary

Smart Care is hiring a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment. You will work with restaurant managers to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair solutions.

You will troubleshoot using diagrams, communicate with manufacturers, and document work orders and parts usage. A valid license, on-call availability, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to participate in emergency on-call rotation including nights/weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve restaurant and hospitality managers with service solutions for commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics to diagnose issues.
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install parts and perform timely repairs per company policy.
• Capture accurate work orders, time reporting and stock inventory.
