Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Service Technician to become a trusted advisor for customers, delivering solutions to predict and prevent kitchen equipment failure across restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and more. You will partner with HVAC/R clients and managers to provide comprehensive service for cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and related equipment.

You will apply your troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams, while participating in on-call rotations including nights and weekends;

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA/CFESA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial HVAC/R customers and restaurant/hospitality managers to offer comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams/schematics.
• Be involved in the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel as assigned.
