Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking an Associate Service Technician to service commercial kitchen equipment in the San Jose area. You will perform performance checks, maintenance, and emergency repairs, and install or remove equipment as needed.

You’ll train customer staff on daily care, manage time efficiently, and pursue additional technician certifications to advance. A valid license and strong independence are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be on call or work shifts as needed.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Leave from home each morning and work at customer sites on service checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, removals, and repairs.
• Train customers on proper cleaning and daily maintenance of equipment.
• Manage time and resources to meet customer commitments.
• Attend training to obtain additional licenses and certifications.
