Job summary

Smart Care is seeking aCommercial Kitchen Equipment Installer in Los Angeles, CA to support equipment installations, maintenance, and deliveries. You will assist technicians and crew, inspect equipment, and help move and uncrate items as required.

Roles require a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, forklift certification (can be provided), and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs. You’ll travel as needed and participate in ongoing safety and skill-training activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license in good standing and able to meet insurance requirements.
• 0–1 year experience in related field.
• Forklift certification (company can certify if needed).
• Pass a DOT physical where required.
• Basic knowledge of welding, hydraulics and/or electrical skills.
• Understand how to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic plumbing and soldering knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Basic knowledge of moving tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment installations and maintenance.
• Assist with assembly of equipment and inspect for proper operation, uncrating, and moving into position.
• Deliver or pick up equipment using a lift-gate truck; drive service/ delivery vehicle as needed.
• Support other office staff and Service Technicians as required.
• Work hours as needed; training other technicians.
• Complete ongoing training in safety, equipment knowledge, and technical skills.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of parts to job locations.
• Other related duties as assigned.
