Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to service and repair cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment for restaurant clients. The role offers on-the-job training, with access to technical support, and requires reading diagrams and diagnosing issues on-site or remotely as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 1 year of technical experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, or related field is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant/hospitality managers to service commercial kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics to identify components and issues.
• Communicate with manufacturers for part IDs and technical details.
• Install ordered parts promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate paperwork: work orders, time reporting, receipts.
