Job summary
Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a hands-on helper to assist with installations, maintenance, and assembly of commercial kitchen and related equipment. You will inspect operation, uncrate, and move gear into position, while driving a service truck with a lift-gate to job sites and supporting technicians at the customer site.
The role requires a HS diploma or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or related experience.
- Driver's license in good standing and can meet insurance requirements.
- 0-1 year of experience in the related field.
- Certified to operate a forklift (the company will certify you if necessary).
- Pass a DOT physical where required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with equipment installations and maintenance.
- Assemble equipment, inspect operation, uncrate and move into position.
- Drive service/delivery truck with lift-gate to destinations.
- Support other technicians and office staff as needed.
- Complete ongoing training in safety, equipment knowledge and skills.
- Pick up and deliver parts; perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel as required for projects and overnight stays.
