Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Interiors Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for TI projects in the Los Angeles area. You will own the schedule, coordinate trades, ensure safety, protect quality, and drive issue resolution on fast-paced commercial interiors from mobilization to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Superintendent-level leadership in commercial construction, with strong knowledge of building codes and CAL-OSHA, and proficiency in Procore and MS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent-level field leadership in commercial construction.
• General contractor background required.
• Commercial interiors/TI experience strongly preferred.
• Strong command of building codes, CAL-OSHA, schedules, RFIs, and submittals.
• Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project preferred.
• OSHA 30, First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site operations across commercial interiors and TI projects, from mobilization to closeout.
• Build and manage master and Look-Ahead Schedules, keeping milestones on track.
• Direct Subcontractor Coordination, including trade sequencing, manpower and weekly field meetings.
• Oversee MEP Coordination and coordinate finish trades in active, fast-paced environments.
• Enforce Jobsite Safety programs and maintain CAL-OSHA compliance.
• Own Quality Control by walking the work daily against drawings and specs.
• Manage RFIs, Submittals and field documentation in Procore and Bluebeam.
• Maintain accurate Daily Logs of labor, progress, deliveries, inspections and issues.
• Coordinate and pass City Inspections.
• Track T&M and support Change Orders alongside the Project Manager.
• Communicate on-site with clients, architects and property teams.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field crews.
• Drive Punch List completion, turnover and Project Closeout.

Job Details

You’ll lead the day-to-day field operations of commercial tenant improvement projects, working closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, building management, subcontractors, inspectors, and your field team.

You are the frontline leader on the jobsite. That means owning the schedule, coordinating the trades, maintaining a safe and organized site, protecting quality, communicating with the project team, and solving the inevitable construction problems that show up between kickoff and punch.
