Insurance Office of America in the United States is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new opportunities. The role covers policy administration, billing, claims, and renewals with a focus on service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, an active P&C license, and strong analytical and communication skills. IOA offers health insurance, 401K, and growth opportunities.

Formación

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client renewals and submissions.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and seek continuous improvement.
