Job Description
These are the fundamental components of the job:
- Manage an established book of business assigned specifically to you, including renewals, providing summaries, ordering and issuing binders, certificates, policies, proposals, and other insurance documents within designated timelines.
- Conduct consultative conversations with a Commercial client base; establish and maintain carrier and client relationships.
- Obtain non-marketed renewal quotes from existing carriers, complete renewal processes, and handle non-renewal and cancellations for cause; prepare complete marketing submissions for existing clients as needed.
Other functions of the job:
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities as appropriate.
- Support miscellaneous duties as requested to support your growth and role expansion.
Skills / traits that we value for this role:
- Insurance experience in customer service or account management for 3+ years.
- Property/Casualty License (all lines).
- Relevant knowledge of insurance products, documents, and usages.
- Computer skills are essential: Word, Excel, Outlook; Applied/EPIC experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Openness to continuing education, college degree, or industry designations.
- Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment.

The compensation range for this position considers factors like experience, skills, and licenses/designations. It typically ranges from $56,750 to $101,279.75, but actual starting pay may vary based on individual circumstances and location.
