About the Role

Alabama insurance job opening (statewide with remote, work-from-home options if not commutable to one of their offices) for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager. You will help manage incoming new clients and direct the activities, workflows, and renewal plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Manage in-force clients in various stages of their annual policy cycle, from daily policy admin transactions with the account manager to more sophisticated client engagement issues and renewal preparation.
  2. Handle the marketing process from A-to-Z, including compiling submissions, working with underwriters on risk analysis and gaps, and discussing coverage recommendations with clients, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  3. Assist the producer with developing service timelines for top-tier clients.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of Commercial P&C insurance experience in client service and account management.
  • Experience in the marketing process, which can include direct or indirect experience with underwriting or placement/brokering.
  • Multi-line coverage background including CGL, Property, Auto, Work Comp, and Professional lines.
