Job summary

gpac seeks a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join a dynamic team in Berwyn, IL. You will manage policy updates, coordinate with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters, and drive growth of the commercial insurance portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a Property & Casualty license, 3–5 years in an independent agency, and hands-on experience with commercial lines, online rating systems, and AMS360/EPIC. A current book of business is a plus.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
• Experience interacting with multiple carriers and their underwriters.
• Proficiency with online rating software and carrier systems.
• Experience using insurance software such as Applied TAM, EPIC or AMS360.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Existing book of business is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input policy updates and account information.
• Engage with clients, producers and carrier underwriters for inquiries.
• Lead marketing and quoting for new business and renewals.
• Identify and oversee information regarding account renewals.
• Maintain timely communication with clients and carrier representatives.
• Contribute to new business development.
