Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our dynamic team in Evanston, IL. You will manage policy updates, coordinate between clients, producers, and underwriters, and drive growth for our commercial portfolio.

The ideal candidate holds a Property & Casualty license with 3–5 years in an independent agency or retail brokerage, strong knowledge of commercial lines, and experience with carrier interactions. Proficiency in AMS360/EPIC/Applied TAM and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent.
• 3–5 years of independent agency or retail brokerage experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.
• Experience working with multiple carriers and underwriters.
• Proficient with online rating software and carrier systems.
• Proficient with Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.

• Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.
• Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.
