Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment in Avon, Indiana is seeking a Commercial & Industrial Service Technician to join our Field Service team. You will install, maintain, and service water treatment systems while following safety guidelines and customer requirements.

This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, dependable scheduling, and clear communication with customers and teammates. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and 1–3 years

What you will be doing:

• Follow detailed installation, maintenance, and service procedures for water systems maintenance, including evaluating and repairing existing customer systems while adhering to health and safety requirements.
• Meet daily installation and service schedules as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Assemble, install, and service various water treatment equipment or kits using available parts and following operating instructions.
• Safely perform job duties, operate the assigned service vehicle, and maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle with the necessary tools and parts.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• 1-3 years or more experience working in a plumbing type of position (preferred).
• Ability to understand and resolve basic plumbing problems and repairs.

Physical Activities

• Continually required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Regularly required to sit or stand and to walk.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
