Zipline in South San Francisco is seeking a Project Manager Intern for the Commercial Implementation team to design, optimize, and maintain workflows that enable seamless partner onboarding and ongoing operations. The role focuses on efficiency, scalability, and compliance while delivering exceptional partner experiences.

The internship is full-time and in-person at the South San Francisco office, with Spring 2027 dates (January 2027 – April 2027).

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, operations, or related roles, preferably in fast-paced or complex environments.
• Proven ability to work with product, engineering, and customer success teams to align processes with business goals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
• Experience in analyzing, mapping, and reengineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement internal business processes (e.g., document change management system).
• Map existing processes to understand flow and identify inefficiencies.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Product, Enterprise Systems, Customer Success, and engineering to implement workflows.
• Monitor process performance, track metrics, and report outcomes.
• Document and maintain up-to-date process workflows, guidelines, and SOPs.
