Job summary

Zipline is hiring an Operations Experience Intern for our South San Francisco office. This full-time, on-site internship starts in Spring 2027 (January–April) and offers a hands-on role supporting internal communications, events, onboarding, and employee engagement projects.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations Experience and cross-functional partners, turning ideas into polished resources for teams.

Qualifications

• Completed at least the second year of a bachelor’s degree with interest in communications, business, operations, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with ability to turn information into clear content.
• Good sense of design, organization, and content quality.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of Operations communications, including drafting and editing content.
• Plan and create employee experiences across All Hands, events, onboarding, and culture-building moments.
• Organize internal resources and information systems, including digital pages and calendars.
• Assist with event and program planning from idea to execution (timelines, logistics, materials).
• Conduct research, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to simplify and engage.
• Learn to manage projects across stakeholders and build scalable processes.
