Easy Ice in Topeka, KS is seeking a Technician II to install, service, and repair commercial ice machines on customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities, helping minimize downtime and emergency service calls.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, 1+ year of diagnostic/repair experience on commercial equipment, and EPA 2 certification. You will train teammates, manage on-site tasks, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPA 2 certification preferred.
• 1+ year of diagnostic/repair experience on commercial equipment (ice machines, refrigeration, HVAC).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ice machines and related equipment at customer sites.
• Lead installation or service tasks as needed to ensure on-time, quality work.
• Diagnose issues on first visit when possible; document findings and actions taken.
• Provide on-site support and training to junior technicians; maintain detailed service reports.
• Maintain truck stock, vehicle cleanliness, and safety compliance during field work.
