Job summary

Easy Ice is seeking a motivated Technician II to ensure optimal performance and reliability of ice machines through installation, cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships with clients during on-site visits.

The successful candidate will handle installation and repair tasks, manage on-site duties, and document maintenance activities to improve future service quality.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Experience: 1+ year diagnosing and repairing commercial equipment (refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, ice machines).
• EPA 2 Certification.
• Working knowledge of mobile tools and applications.
• Experience with voltmeter operations.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including rotating on-call.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Problem-solving abilities and proactive maintenance mindset.
• Time management and organization for service records and tasks.
• Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, clean, and troubleshoot ice machines to maximize performance and longevity.
• Lead on-site installation and provide accurate, timely service per SOPs.
• Train and mentor less senior technicians as required.
• Document all service actions with photos and reports.
• Maintain truck stock, vehicle cleanliness, and shop safety standards.
