Job summary

Easy Ice in the United States is seeking a Technician I to install, maintain, and service ice machines across customer sites. You will work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, focusing on reliability, cleanliness, and safety.

This role requires 1–2 years in a technical, service-oriented setting, plus basic mechanical and electrical knowledge. You will document work, manage truck stock, and support senior technicians while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented technical role or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Previous experience with ice machines or HVAC maintenance or similar equipment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components related to ice machines or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and standard repair practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to ensure service calls are completed in a timely manner.
• Skills in maintaining organized records and documentation of service activities.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering highest level of customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Install, clean, and maintain ice machines per Easy Ice SOPs.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine inspections.
• Document all actions with photos, forms, and logs.
• Ensure proper truck stock and vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist in parts replacement, cleaning, or equipment repairs as needed.
• Assist in processing payments and proper shutdown/removal of equipment.
