Job summary

Trane Technologies in Tennessee is seeking an HVAC service technician to perform end-to-end testing, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects at customer sites. You will act as the direct customer contact, diagnose and repair equipment, coordinate with project managers, and follow blueprints and engineering specs while maintaining safety standards.

This role requires 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely and wear protective gear.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, startup, commissioning and servicing on assigned projects.
• Direct customer contact to ensure satisfaction and diagnose/repair equipment.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements and gather materials.
• Follow blueprints/engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety and security of assets; be flexible for overtime and travel as needed.
