Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. in the Phoenix area is seeking a Service Technician II - HVAC to perform inspections, diagnostics, testing, repairs and preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.

You will apply company standards and safety protocols to ensure reliable operation of split systems, chillers, rooftop units and air handling equipment. This role requires 2–5 years hands-on HVAC experience, a HS diploma or GED, and a two-year technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on HVAC experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must possess required registrations, licenses, and certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and optimize performance of HVAC systems (split systems, mini split systems, RTUs, WSHPs, CRAC units, chillers, airside equipment) using hand and power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.
• Disassemble/reassemble HVAC equipment for troubleshooting and planned maintenance per service agreements.
• Fulfill service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls while maintaining profitability.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and explain work performed to their satisfaction.
• Participate in technician on-call standby rotation per business unit policies.
• Safely operate a vehicle and trailer, adhering to company safety requirements and driving policy.
• Purchase materials and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on the service vehicle.
