Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician in Charlotte, NC to support the Maintenance Manager with preventative, corrective, and general maintenance. This contract-to-hire role involves daily system assessments, maintaining a clean work area, and following manufacturing standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 2+ years of experience with commercial cooling systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• 2+ years in experience with commercial air conditioning including chillers, water pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, package units, split systems, exhaust fans and heat pumps.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems per CMMS scheduling. Changing of filters and belts as needed.
• Installs lighting ballasts and bulbs as needed per CMMS work request.
• Assists in repair, adjustment and maintenance of refrigerants, heat exchangers, HVAC equipment and systems; records readings and notifies issues.
• Follows safety practices per OSHA and knows the locations of emergency equipment.
