Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Seneca, SC. The ideal candidate has a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA Certification.

Responsibilities include diagnosing HVAC and related systems, performing maintenance and repairs, and maintaining PM contracts. The role requires a valid driver’s license and flexibility for on‑call shifts.

Qualifications

• Active EPA Certification is required for service and repair work.
• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting is required.
• OSHA 10 Certification is preferred; Manufacturer Certification is advantageous.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on‑call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and related equipment with accuracy.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units, or replace parts for 15 tons+.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and their controls.
• Service mini-splits/RTUs for 15 tons or less.
• Communicate with Dispatch to ensure completion of scheduled jobs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for customers.
• Provide elite customer service to every customer encountered.
