Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an HVAC Technician in Durham, NC to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems in a fast-paced setting. You will work with chillers, air handling units, VAVs, DDC controls, and ventilation systems to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, data analysis of system performance, and maintaining logs while supporting overall safety standards and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC certificate or state-approved license.
• Experience with industrial and commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers.
• Valid driver’s license and EPA Universal Refrigeration License.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Analyze system data and logs to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Assist with system evaluations and maintain comprehensive maintenance records.
• Support safety standards and collaborate with team members for optimal results.

Position Description

Join a dynamic team as an HVAC Technician in Durham, NC, where you'll play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems in a fast-paced environment. This contract-to-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise on a variety of equipment, including chillers, air handling units, heat pumps, VAVs, DDC controls, and ventilation systems.
