Job Title: Lead Commercial HVAC Technician

Pay Rate: $45/hr

Daily variety – work on a range of HVAC systems in commercial buildings, schools, and industrial facilities: chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and building automation systems (BAS). Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting Diagnostics & Optimization: Troubleshoot and enhance the performance of commercial HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as filter replacements, system inspections, and performance assessments.
• Controls Integration: Collaborate on integrating HVAC systems with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
• Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients to assess HVAC needs and provide informed recommendations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and complies with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance and diagnostics.
• Universal EPA, OSHA 10 or 30 certification - preferred.
• Leadership experience training and managing Techs and Installers.
• Able to travel 24-50% of the time including some overnight.
• Proficiency in reading HVAC blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Experience with BAS integration and HVAC control systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid HVAC certification/license as required by local regulations.
