Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and repair RTUs, air handlers, VAVs, fan coils, split systems, and other commercial equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, start-ups, testing, and commissioning.
• Braze and solder, handle refrigerant recovery and charging, and replace compressors, coils, motors, and fans.
• Work on piping, valves, actuators, and combustion equipment.
• Troubleshoot low- and high-voltage controls and electrical circuits.
• Communicate clearly with customers and complete service documentation.

Location: South King County / Seattle area, field based

Type: Full-time, union

Compensation and benefits: $55.24 to $76.43 per hour, set by the union CBA rate sheet and skills testing

About the company

Our client is an established commercial HVAC mechanical services contractor with a large West Coast footprint and a national parent company behind it. Their local service team is growing, with steady repeat customers and strong in-house chiller and controls expertise.

The role

You’ll service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment across customer sites. This is a union position with a real path to foreman for a tech who wants to lead.

What you’ll do

• Troubleshoot and repair RTUs, air handlers, VAVs, fan coils, split systems, and other commercial equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance, start-ups, testing, and commissioning

What we’re looking for

• Journeyman-level commercial HVAC service tech with about 5+ years on commercial equipment
• Universal EPA/CFC certification
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable on roofs, on ladders, and in tight spaces; able to lift 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Interest in moving into a foreman role is a plus
