Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems in Omaha, NE, is seeking a field service technician to commission and service commercial kitchen ventilation and HVAC equipment. You will repair, replace and troubleshoot existing HVAC units, maintain detailed service schedules, and submit daily job reports and invoices.

The role requires HVAC/R knowledge, strong electrical skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R knowledge preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Able to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and use tools.
• Work outdoors and in tight spaces; roof access with ladders.

Job Duties

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment
• Repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment
• Develop and maintain service schedule
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily

Job Requirements

• HVAC, HVAC/R skill set desired
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools
• Work in outside conditions and in tight spaces (inside RTU)
• Use of ladders for roof access

Salary: Base salary (above average), plus monthly bonus based upon productivity and profits.
