Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. is seeking entry level and experienced applicants for HVAC service roles in the Chicago area. The company is a leading manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation systems with nationwide presence.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/HVAC-R systems preferred.
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and use power/hand tools.
• Outdoor/irregular work environments and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment.
• Repair, replace and troubleshoot existing HVAC equipment.
• Develop and maintain service schedule.
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily.

Job Duties

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment
• Repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment
• Develop and maintain service schedule
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily

Job Requirements

• HVAC, HVAC/R skill set desired
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools
• Work in outside conditions and in tight spaces (inside RTU)
• Use of ladders for roof access

Salary
