CaptiveAire Systems in Charleston, SC is seeking a skilled HVAC technician with commercial HVAC experience to commission and service ventilation systems.

The role involves installing, repairing, and optimizing HVAC equipment, measuring airflow, and maintaining service schedules. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, read wiring schematics, and work outdoors and in tight spaces. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
• Work in outside conditions and in tight spaces (inside RTU).
• Use of ladders for roof access.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of new ventilation and HVAC equipment.
• Repair, replace and trouble-shoot existing HVAC equipment.
• Measure airflow and adjust to design specifications.
• Develop and maintain service schedule.
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily.

Job Duties

Salary

Pay range $60k-75k based on experience, plus monthly bonus based upon productivity and profits.
