RLP Mechanical in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is hiring an Experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for the DFW Metroplex. You’ll diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems, walk-ins, RTUs, and related equipment, with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines, RTUs, split systems, and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols and refrigerant handling guidelines.
• Communicate clearly with customers and recommend needed repairs or upgrades.
• Share your expertise to mentor junior technicians.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines as well as RTU’s, split systems, and chillers.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6+ years of hands‑on commercial refrigeration & HVAC service experience
• Previous commercial kitchen equipment repair experience is a plus
• Proven skill with diagnostics, repairs, and system performance optimization
• EPA Type II certification required | OSHA 30 preferred
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach
