H & G Systems, a Dallas-Fort Worth area mechanical contractor, seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician for year-round commercial work. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad range of commercial HVAC equipment, with a take-home vehicle and home dispatch setup.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC experience preferred.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Customer service and communication skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders or lifts.
• EPA certification and/or trade school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues.
• Perform equipment startups, commissioning support, and warranty service.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, split systems, package units, and related equipment.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of commercial HVAC equipment throughout the DFW area.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues
• Perform equipment startups, commissioning support, and warranty service
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, split systems, package units, and related equipment
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsComplete digital work orders and service documentation accurately
• Communicate findings and recommendations professionally with customers
• Build strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service
• Maintain company safety and quality standards

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-5:30 PM

Additional overtime opportunities may be available, including occasional evenings and weekends.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC experience preferred
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Familiarity with rooftop units, split systems, and package equipment
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work from ladders and operate aerial or scissor lifts safely

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Certification
• Experience working in healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities
• Building automation or controls experience
• Trade school training or manufacturer certifications
