Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will drive success as an integral part of TUDI's Commercial Service team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage department activities to achieve revenue goals and objectives while maintaining a strong customer focus.
- Lead, motivate, and optimize the service team to provide a superior customer experience.
- Execute established business plans to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Consistently administer company policies/procedures while leveraging employee engagement and establishing a culture of accountability.
- Work closely and effectively with all departments and Department Managers.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and following up with customers and staff.
- Continuously monitor performance and develop strategies for optimizing service fulfillment and customer experience.
- Identify bottlenecks impeding efficient and timely customer service completion and collaborate with the Process Improvement team for resolutions.
- Manage strategic relationships with local trade schools to access students and alumni.
- Encourage open and collaborative communication among team members.
- Educate technicians on safety and best practices in the field.
- Monitor and maintain job satisfaction through thorough annual performance evaluations.
- Participate in management meetings to develop corporate growth strategies and address operational challenges.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting team for technician and support staff recruitment and onboarding.
- Manage and support ongoing training programs for staff utilizing outside vendors and Tudi University.
- Perform annual budgeting, planning, forecasting, and establish operational plans with senior leadership.
- Lead Tudi Safety committee and oversee safety requirements.
- Support other activities and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC industry experience.
- Experience leading a fast-paced service organization successfully.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and forecast data aligned with company goals and revenue targets.
- Proficiency in task management and time management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate a team toward common goals.
