Doc Services in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Technician to travel to customer locations, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, document service activities, and ensure safety compliance, while keeping equipment reliable and efficient. This role requires a high school diploma, 5 years of experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED mandatory.
• At least 5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience including servicing walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers, ice machines.
• Valid EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile apps to complete work orders.
• Ability to cross-train on additional equipment and expand skills.
• Own set of tools for maintenance and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with solid electrical/mechanical understanding.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-in and reach-in freezers, coolers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running efficiently.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect equipment, identify defective components, and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
• Identify parts and supplies needed to complete repairs and resolve service calls efficiently.
• Document service activities and communicate updates with store managers, regional DOC supervisor, and office administrator.
• Maintain company vehicle and keep tools in good working condition.
• Follow DOC safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed to support customers and team.
