Job summary

DOC Services is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Technician to travel to customer locations, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, document service activities, and uphold OSHA safety standards.

A high school diploma or GED and EPA certification are required, along with a valid driver's license and your own set of tools.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R field experience required, including commercial systems.
• EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Own set of tools for maintenance and repairs.
• Proficient with MS Office and mobile work orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect equipment, identify faulty components, and complete repairs using appropriate tools.
• Identify parts and supplies needed to complete repairs and resolve service calls efficiently.
• Document service activities and communicate updates with managers and supervisor.
• Maintain company vehicle and keep tools in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed to support customers and team.
