Job summary

ESFM in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician to support facilities engineering and maintenance under supervision. You will work with a supervisor or master mechanic to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and correct work practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Maintenance Technician in institutional engineering/maintenance.
• Journeyman Electrical License, EPA refrigerant certification, or Journeyman Plumber License.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics; valid driver’s license.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical equipment and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on HVAC and building systems.
• Document tasks in CMMS and update status on mobile devices.
• Assist in determining manpower, parts, and deadlines for jobs.
• Respond to emergencies and complete PM work orders and inspections.
