Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Minooka, IL. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and related equipment in educational facilities.

You will respond to routine maintenance requests, document work orders, and support the maintenance staff under direction. Expect 2nd shift hours (3:00 PM–11:30 PM), with opportunities to contribute to building automation and preventive maintenance programs within a large educational environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Operate school equipment and load/unload materials as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and document repairs.
