Job summary

HES is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support school facilities with HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment and systems, and coordinate with the Director on major issues.

You will use hand and power tools, read manuals and blueprints, document work performed, and follow safety and quality standards to keep buildings operating smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 3PM-11:30PM.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing or electrical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing and electrical equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids; replace filters; follow inspection lists.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic carpentry or painting tasks as needed.
• Document work performed and report major failures to Director.
